This was excellent!!!!!! And for the record, had I said any of the angry hateful words, my Sunday school teacher, my pastor, my mother and my grandmother would have mad a long line of mouth cleaners' with soap! I would have spoken in "bubble" for a week at least!
I can feel the turmoil in these words. To one who so often gives comfort to others may God send some small gift that sounds like a bird greeting a sunrise.

I really appreciate that, Patricia! Thank you

How beautiful, Patrice! Thank you
The violence SOME men feel toward women infects society. She stood her ground.
She said no. Like women are taught, she even said no nicely.
But she disobeyed. She paid the price of runaway chattel.
Would men stand in church and be ashamed? Not if their church advocates keeping women in line. Even saying it is right to beat your wife.
Who she is doesn’t matter to them. No amount of understanding her person will change their perspective.
Building a society that supports women saying NO would help. So would stopping the new Slave Patrols.
Release the Epstein files. Stop domestic violence.
And yes, work very hard to not become the mirror image of hate. I must work very hard to not hate the hater.
Working for the Good has new meaning. We must.
Thanks for your wisdom and honesty.
Helping each other up the mountain is the only way we can take the higher ground.
